Description

Cruise Venice's picturesque North Lagoon on a traditional Venetian boat and see for yourself why UNESCO certified it a World Heritage Site. The flat-bottom gondola can reach most of the lagoon's most stunning corners, sailing between the small canals and sandbanks as you share a bottle of white wine, learn about the city's history, and marvel at the spectacular views. The tour travels to the islands of Murano, Burano where you will stop for an hour on each island. If you want included in the price you could visit a glass factory in Murano to see how they make the glass. We will sail along Torcello, Mazzorbo the cemetery island of San Michele. Other scenic highlights include shallow waters, a saltmarsh you will see how was Venice before they build it a real trip back in time, and Sant'Erasmo – “The Garden of Venice” – as well as the magnificent 12th-century Convent of San Francesco del Deserto, which can only be reached by private boat and the Island of Lazzaretto Novo where the venetians built the first hospital for quarantine ever! The tour is 100% customizable so if you prefer to stop in Torcello and/or San Francesco in spite of Burano and/or Murano just let us know
