Description

You will be fully immerged in the art of Murano Glass. We care about this old craft because my family has always been involved in this and I go on with this tradition along with my team. Gino Mazzuccato Glass factory was founded in 1958 and here you will experience the real art of Murano Glass. What you will do along with us is to discover the production of Glass, a member of our team will explain all the different steps of the production, including the materials and the different techniques. During this explanation a Murano Glass Master will show you how we work the glass. You will see the sculpture technique and also the Glass blowing technique which is the oldest and best known one. And it is exactly what you are going to do along with Glass Master, you will blow the Murano Glass. Safety is our concern, so the Glass Master will help you during this experience. And we always want to be honest with our guests, looking at a demonstration and trying to blow the glass, you won't become glass masters, but you can try and enjoy the famous glass blowing. At the end of the blowing experience you can visit our showroom with one of the greatest collection of Murano Glass artworks made by the most important local artists that collaborate with us and also visit our gift shop. Visit at the Murano Glass factory Gino Mazzuccato, very easy to reach from Venice, because it is on the right side of the Murano Colonna water bus stop, the main stop of the island of Murano. The demo and the experience last about 35 minutes in total, but then you are free to spend as much time as you wish in our factory.
